Frequently asked questions.
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupations are the activities people of all ages need and want to do—things like making meals, dressing, managing medications, driving, going to school or work, playing, or caring for family members.
Occupational Therapists help people participate in their desired occupations with the therapeutic use of everyday activities, based on the client's personal interests and needs.
Will you come to my home?
Yes. We believe that many postpartum issues are directly related to the environment you and your baby spend your time in. Our in-home services are designed to evaluate you in your natural environment, and to provide treatment options to address your unique and evolving needs.
Our therapists will travel anywhere in the South-Bay. We charge $1/mile for travel.
Do you accept insurance?
The services we offer are typically covered by insurance. We do not bill insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. We provide you with a Super-Bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Can I pay with my Health Savings Account (HSA)?
Yes. Enter your HSA/FSA credit card information when asked for payment information.
Will I benefit from pelvic floor therapy even if I’m not in the postpartum stage of life?
Yes! Many of the pelvic floor issues that arise during pregnancy, childbirth, and aging can be treated at any time. You can schedule an evaluation here: https://www.restoreot.com/get-started
